You're wearing all your hats: Mom, wife, laundress, bread winner, bread maker, friend, on and on and on... How in the world are you going to find time to start a work out routine? You want to be healthier and you know more exercise is a major key to achieving that. So, let's try to figure out how you can get more fitness into your busy life. You don't have time to get to the gym and you want to start small. Don't think of the final results right now. Work on each day. Start with the basic premise of getting 30 minutes of more exercise in your daily routine. It may only be 5 minutes of walking in place at a time, but work it in. Do you have stairs in the house or at work? Walk them for 5 or 10 minutes at a time. That 30 minutes of extra exercise in your day will burn approximately 100 extra calories. The more strenuous that extra movement is, the more calories you will burn. Once you adjust your schedule and body to that, then start working towards 30 minutes all at once. This will be a better cardio workout and move you into burning more fat. This is the place most of us want to be at right? If you can get that 30 minutes outside it will bring your spirits up even more! copyright 2007 Val Selby www.busymommawellness.com
